IT FIS Business Analyst
Will be contribute to IT transformation initiatives by supporting modernization of legacy systems, improving processes, and enabling technology adoption. Responsibilities include:
A. IT Transformation and Modernization
- Participate in projects to migrate legacy applications to modern technology stacks.
- Support integration of new tools and frameworks into existing workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance system efficiency.
B. Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Gather and document business requirements for IT and factory support systems.
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Explore and propose opportunities to integrate AI/ML into factory support workflows for efficiency and predictive capabilities.
C. Knowledge Management & Documentation
- Create and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting and operational procedures.
- Prepare presentations and guides for internal knowledge sharing.
D. Application Development and Support
- Develop and maintain applications aligned with business requirements.
- Provide troubleshooting and support for system issues.
- Maintain documentation for application processes and user guides.
E. System and Database Support
- Perform basic system and database checks and assist with routine operations under supervision.
- Document troubleshooting steps for common system and database-related issues.
Qualifications:
A. Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Recent graduates or candidates with 02 years of experience in IT, business analysis, or application development.
- Internship or academic project experience in system analysis or process improvement is a plus.
B. Technical Skills
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis Ability to elicit, document, and validate business requirements using structured techniques.
- Process Modeling & Documentation Familiarity with flowcharts, UML diagrams, or BPMN models to represent system workflows.
- Specification Writing Experience drafting Functional Specifications, Use Cases, and User Stories for development teams.
- Data Analysis & Reporting Competence in analyzing datasets, creating reports, and interpreting trends using tools like Excel, SQL queries, or BI tools.
- Technical Documentation & Presentation Ability to create clear troubleshooting guides and prepare presentations for stakeholders.
- Programming or Scripting Knowledge Ability to read or write simple scripts (Python, Java, or similar) for automation or data validation.
- SQL and Database Knowledge Medium-level proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Tools Familiarity Exposure to JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation tools.

- Fluent command and communication skill of both spoken and written English.
- Understand the importance of e-security activity to protect Seagate's assets from threats.
- Passed Seagate Security Screening.
- Qualified by Seagate IT.
- All replacement headcount staff provided when the primary staff takes leave must meet the same qualifications.
