Job Description

Role Overview

The Business Analyst is part of the IT team and represents IT ownership in business analysis, solution design, project delivery, UAT execution, and operational support. This role works closely with business users, development teams, and vendors to ensure IT solutions are delivered effectively, operated smoothly, and comply with internal standards, security policies, and IT governance.

Key Responsibilities

· Gather, analyze, validate, and prioritize business and technical requirements through discussions and collaboration with stakeholders

· Translate business needs into clear functional, technical, and integration specifications

· Define solution approaches and support solution design in alignment with IT standards

· Support project delivery by coordinating with business users, development teams, and vendors, including planning, impact analysis, and requirement change management

· Monitor, track, and report project status, progress, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders

· Define, execute, and review UAT strategies, test scenarios, and defect resolution in collaboration with business users and development teams

· Support knowledge transfer and provide system training to users as required

· Support operational systems, production issues, and incident handling as required

· Identify opportunities to improve and streamline operational processes

· Ensure compliance with internal standards, security policies, regulatory requirements, and IT governance requirements

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

· At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis or IT project delivery

· Experience working on IT projects across the system development lifecycle (SDLC)

· Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and vendors

· Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL

· Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

· Knowledge or experience in the life insurance business will be considered an advantage
