Business Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Commercial Cards with over 5 years of business analysis experience, specializing in Commercial Cards. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business delivery by partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, operations, and external vendors to deliver strategic initiatives, regulatory changes, and process improvements across the commercial cards portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

.Lead business analysis activities for Commercial Cards initiatives, including Corporate credit and debit Cards.

.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.

.Produce high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

.Perform impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility assessments for new products, enhancements, and regulatory initiatives (Prominent task).

.Work closely with technology, architecture, QA, operations, and vendor teams to ensure successful solution delivery (Prominent task)

.Support end-to-end project delivery across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

.Participate in solution design discussions to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.

.Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test case preparation, execution support, defect management, and business sign-off.

.Support implementation planning, production deployment, hypercare, and post-implementation reviews.

.Drive process optimization and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.

.Provide subject matter expertise on Commercial Cards products, transaction lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.

Required Experience

.5+ years of Business Analysis experience within the Banking or Financial Services industry.

.Strong domain expertise in cards domain, esp with commercial cards an added advantage.

.Proven experience delivering complex business and technology transformation initiatives.

.Strong knowledge of the end-to-end card lifecycle, transaction processing, authorization, clearing, settlement, disputes, chargebacks, and reconciliation.

.Experience working with card schemes such as Visa and Mastercard.

.Hands-on experience in requirement elicitation, process modelling, gap analysis, and solution validation.

.Experience supporting Agile Scrum, SAFe, and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.

.Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence business and technology teams.

.Experience coordinating UAT and supporting production implementation.

.Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

.Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.

.Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Business Analyst, Scrum, or SAFe are preferred.

.Knowledge of ISO 8583, payment processing, commercial payments, and card management platforms is an advantage.

.Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, SQL, and reporting tools is desirable.
