Business Analyst Intern

TK & Partners is a private venture capital firm founded by a former Senior partner at McKinsey. We invest in early-stage Healthcare and HealthTech startups including AI-enabled solutions from Seed to Pre-Series B, with a mission to identify potential early and scale it globally.

For this role, you will work in a team of 1-2 BA/associates and/or principal to drive the startup scanning process, evaluate startup potentials and risk profiles and identify/ implement potential solutions for a specific challenge.

For this role you will have the full and hands-on learning experience of the startup whole development cycle to lead a specific startup end to end from due diligence, investment process, and support the startup on their growth strategy where you will be working along with the startup CEO and founder.

Responsibilities:

1. Investment

• Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify investment opportunities.
• Assess business model and perform financial modeling and valuation analysis to support investment decision-making.
• Assist in drafting investment memos and strategic recommendations.

2. Business advisor/ Startup scaling

• Develop the aspirations, strategies, and business plan for startups.
• Drive the execution e.g., B2B/ B2C sales, Partnership setup, etc.
• Lead the overall program management
• Support startups e.g., Financial controllers (budget planning, KPIs setting), Preparation for the whole fundraising process (starting from business model, valuation, to investor reaching out).

Required Skills:

• Strong English proficiency is required for both verbal and written
• Strong financial analytics and quantitative-driven thinking
• Strong excel and powerpoint skills
• Strong logical and structural thinking
• An entrepreneurial candidate who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Good self-lead and team player
