About the role
- As our Business Analyst, SAP SD, you will design and optimize processes that integrate seamlessly with manufacturing and supply chain—providing accurate, timely, and actionable manufacturing insights.
- This role focuses heavily on requirements gathering, gap-fit analysis, testing, documentation, solution design, reporting, support and adoption.
- It also demands end-to-end ownership: from understanding business requirements and mapping processes to hands-on SAP configuration, testing, and deployment.
As a Business Analyst SAP SD, you will be responsible for...
- Leading the functional analysis of SD requirements and translating them into S/4HANNA SAP solutions.
- Performing configuration of SAP SD module.
- Integrating SD with other SAP modules FICO and MM as well as Salesforce workflows/processes.
- Troubleshooting, performing root cause analysis and resolving SAP issues at functional, configuration and technical levels.
- Maintaining, enhancing and optimising SAP S/4HANA solutions in production.
- Conducting user training and creating user documentation as needed.
- Identifying and implementing automation, reporting, and process improvements.
- Working with our third-party vendor on L2 and L3 support
- Ensuring system stability, performance optimisation, and support patch upgrades and OS patching activities.
What you already have...
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- SAP S/4HANA Certification in SAP is a strong advantage, preferably SAP SD.
- Ability to work on In-App Extensibility and BTP-based extensions and understanding of integration tools (SAP CPI, APIs) and CDS Views; experience in WRICEF objects
- Minimum 3 years of SAP SD experience, including at least 1 full lifecycle implementation.
- Proven ability to work both functionally and technically—from business process mapping to SAP configuration and testing.
- Strong knowledge of SD with good understanding of Salesforce is highly preferred.
- Experience integrating SD with FICO, MM, and PP modules and MES is highly advantageous
- Ability to support one other module is highly advantageous.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, self-driven and able to work independently to meet timelines.
