Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented BA to support the delivery of digital products and customer experiences. This role will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, UX, Business, and Operations teams to gather requirements, manage product backlogs, document user stories, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality digital solutions.

The ideal candidate is passionate about solving customer problems, enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, and is eager to build a career in product management.

Key Responsibilities

Product Support

  • Assist in defining product requirements and documenting business needs.
  • Support Product Managers in executing the product roadmap and delivery plans.
  • Participate in product discovery activities, customer feedback sessions, and requirement workshops.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support product initiatives.

Requirement Gathering & Documentation

  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Convert business requirements into clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain product documentation, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and ready for development.

Backlog Management

  • Support backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization.
  • Track feature progress and ensure stories are updated throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Assist in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve queries.

Testing & Release Support

  • Prepare test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate implemented features against business requirements.
  • Log, track, and verify defects until closure.
  • Assist with production readiness activities and release coordination.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with Business, Technology, UX, Operations, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Facilitate requirement discussions and follow up on action items.
  • Provide regular updates on feature progress and delivery status.
  • Escalate risks and dependencies to leadership when required.

Product Analytics

  • Monitor key product metrics and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Analyse customer feedback, usage trends, and product performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through analysis and insights.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed about industry trends, digital products, and customer experience best practices.
  • Recommend enhancements based on customer feedback and business needs.
  • Contribute ideas for improving internal processes and product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 - 6 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Digital Delivery, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to write clear business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on web or mobile digital products.
  • Exposure to customer journey mapping or UX principles.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or digital application architecture.
  • Certification in Scrum, Agile, or Product Management is an advantage.

Domain Knowledge

  • Experience in delivering banking or fintech based projects.
  • Should be able to understand banking terminologies and communicate with Business team to deliver projects.
