Position Overview:
The Business Architect will support business strategy by developing and maintaining capabilities that align with strategic goals. This involves collaborating with business units and technology teams to drive innovation, identify transformation opportunities, and create models that support effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to ttb's strategy by aligning business capabilities with strategic priorities and maintaining the capability framework.
- Define target capabilities, assess current state, and identify opportunities for new products, technologies, and business models.
- Partner with Technology Innovation and business units to drive the innovation pipeline and ensure alignment with architecture goals.
- Develop business architecture blueprints and maintain a roadmap to support long-term business goals.
- Identify and drive process improvements to address business challenges and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure project alignment with business architecture and strategic priorities, adapting models as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in business architecture and strategy execution, with proven experience leading complex transformation initiatives within the financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of business architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and experience in creating business models, capability frameworks, and architectural blueprints.
- Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools, as well as familiarity with PPM (Project Portfolio Management) practices.
- Analytical skills for assessing process improvements and identifying solutions to optimize operations.
- Solid understanding of the banking and financial services industry, including regulatory requirements, emerging trends, and customer-centric approaches.
- Experience with innovation initiatives and technology-driven business transformations, particularly in finance or related sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with senior leadership, Technology, Product, and Project teams to influence and align architecture goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience preparing and presenting strategic reports and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
