Develop 35-year strategy for Retail business and potential ecosystem and prioritize key initiatives to achieve the target sales and EBIT/EBITDA growth
Facilitate BDC VP including Head BU and cross-functions leaders (e.g., Business Development, Legal, HR, Finance, Risks, Operation) to drive strategic initiatives and review JV/M&A investment transactions across all BUs.
Develop and oversee transformation projects across diverse business units related to cross-border business activities related to China market
Lead key management meeting reports to the management
Identify and evaluate potential high-level strategic opportunities
Lead special agenda projects with critical strategic implications
Initiate new strategies and business development plan Manage teams and special projects undertaken for the CEO/CFO
Evaluate identified opportunities value creation and impact through the assessment of risks, probable outcomes, financial and competitive analysis, organizational impact and ease of implementation
Work with cross-functional team to create platforms to accommodate trade and B2B business*
Update VP on status and any issues being faced
Track BUs key initiatives against target for improvement plan
Analyze current performance to initiative improvement plan by Monitor BU's KPI and business plan
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Business, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or investment, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
Proven track record in cross-border business expansion, particularly in the Chinese market.
Strong understanding of retail, consumer, or ecosystem business models and ability to identify growth opportunities across new business platforms.
Demonstrated experience in M&A, JV structuring, or strategic partnership management.
Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills with strong business acumen.
Strong project management skills and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with senior executives and external partners.
Proficiency in English and Thai (both written and spoken) is a must.
Chinese language skills will be an advantage
