The Role: Business Development Lead

As our Business Development Lead, you will be the key architect in shaping the strategic direction of upskilling and reskilling for the Thai workforce.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Direction & Business Ownership: Define the high-level vision and strategy for the team by closely monitoring Tech/Digital Skills trends to set the roadmap. You will oversee the big picture and take full responsibility for the team's Profit & Loss (P&L) to achieve specified targets.
- Portfolio Strategy & Operational Excellence: Manage the entire product portfolio under the team's responsibility. Strategically manage resources and the instructor network to build strong long-term partnerships. Establish operational systems to utilize feedback for the efficient development of product standards at scale.
- Advanced Curriculum Design & Quality Assurance: Take a hands-on approach to designing complex or novel curricula. Set quality standards and act as a coach for the team in creating learning journeys and conducting on-site quality checks to elevate team standards.
- Strategic Solution Design & Partnership Support: Play a primary role in large-scale projects or complex challenges. Assist the team and the sales department in deep-dive problem analysis to design solutions that meet corporate client needs and help unlock various constraints to ensure project success.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development: Manage the team and serve as a mentor to transfer knowledge, upskill, and fully unlock the team's potential. Foster a learning and working environment that is mutually supportive.
Qualifications
- Passionate Educator & Leader: Beyond just a love for education, you must be able to transmit passion and vision to lead the team in expanding access to quality education for the Thai workforce.
- Domain Knowledge: Possess deep knowledge and understanding in AI, Data, or Programming. You can capture market trends to formulate curriculum strategies and serve as a consultant for the team on difficult problems.
- Logical & Strategic Business Sense: Have a systematic thinking process, using data to drive strategic decisions. Demonstrate business acumen and a sense of ownership in managing P&L for growth.
- Growth & Coaching Mindset: Love learning and be ready to mentor the team. Brave enough to give and receive feedback for people development, keeping learner success as the primary goal.
- Leadership Experience: Experience in team management or overseeing complex projects (Project Management). Experience in EdTech, Tech Consulting, or as an instructor will be given special consideration.
