We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager who understands the pharmaceutical ecosystem, has an established network within the industry, and can drive strategic business growth.
Key Responsibility:
- Identify, develop, and acquire new business opportunities within pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organizations, and allied industries.
- Build and maintain relationships with Brand Managers, Product Managers, Marketing Heads, Medical Affairs teams, Procurement teams, and senior decision-makers.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, industry events, conferences, and strategic outreach.
- Understand client marketing objectives and develop customized agency solutions.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, commercial quotations, and pitch decks.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Collaborate closely with the strategy, creative, digital, and production teams to develop winning solutions.
- Drive revenue growth while ensuring healthy profit margins.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to client servicing after project closure.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing) preferred.
- 2–3 years of proven business development experience.
- Prior experience working with pharmaceutical companies or healthcare clients is mandatory.
- Existing relationships within the pharmaceutical industry will be a significant advantage.
