Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth and market expansion within the Power & Renewable Energy sector in Thailand and Greater Mekong Region (Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia).
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities related to owner's engineering, technical advisory, testing, inspection, and certification services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with power developers, utilities, EPC contractors, investors, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Lead business development activities including client engagement, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and project acquisition.
  • Promote Bureau Veritas services across conventional power, renewable energy, and energy transition projects.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and strengthen BV's market presence in the energy sector.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and operational teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Support regional and local initiatives to expand BV's capabilities in the power and renewable energy market.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Energy, Business, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Technical Advisory, Owner's Engineering, TIC, or Project Management Consulting within the Power or Renewable Energy sector.
  • Strong technical understanding of power generation, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy projects.
  • Proven track record in securing and developing business opportunities with major power and energy clients.
  • Established industry network with developers, utilities, EPC contractors, and energy stakeholders in Thailand and GMR.
  • Experience in owner's engineering and technical advisory services is highly preferred.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Thai.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business development activities.
