Business Development Manager Thailand
medtechrec is partnered with a leading international medical device organisation to recruit a Business Development Manager for Thailand. The role will focus on strengthening national market presence, expanding access to orthopaedic and sports-medicine technologies, and supporting sustainable revenue growth via distributor optimisation and surgeon engagement.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing national go-to-market and expansion strategies.
- Managing and motivating distributor networks to achieve sales objectives.
- Building relationships with surgeons, KOLs, hospital executives, and procurement teams.
- Supporting tenders, pricing frameworks, and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinating clinical workshops, congress activities, and product-education events.
- Supporting introduction of new technologies into key hospital accounts.
- Providing structured market insight and performance analysis to senior leadership.
Candidate profile:
- Proven commercial experience in Thailands medical device sector (orthopaedics desirable).
- Understanding of reimbursement pathways and hospital procurement processes.
- Strong stakeholder-management and partner-development capability.
- Able to balance strategic planning with hands-on market activity.
- Excellent communication skills in Thai and English, with willingness to travel nationally.
