We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager based in Thailand to drive our expansion and impact within the Thai market.
About the Role
As the Business Development Manager for Thailand, you will own and grow Britannica's presence in the country, building strong relationships with business partners, educational institutions, and government agencies.
You will lead B2G and B2B sales processes, drive strategic partnerships, and collaborate on marketing initiatives to accelerate growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan to expand Britannica's footprint in Thailand.
- Identify, engage, and manage new and existing business partners to drive revenue growth.
- Lead sales cycles from prospecting to deal closure, including navigating RFPs and B2G processes.
- Work closely with local education authorities and institutions to integrate Britannica's solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement country-specific campaigns.
What We're Looking For
✔ 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in education/knowledge services.
✔ Proven success in B2B sales and SaaS partnerships, with experience in channel management.
✔ Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes.
✔ Excellent relationship-building skills with stakeholders in Thailand and across the region.
✔ Fluency in English; Thai is highly preferred.
✔ A proactive, go-getter mindset with a passion for driving impact in education.
✔ Preferably at least 3 years of experience in school, university, or library sales within Northern Thailand.
