Job Description: Co-founder (Business Lead) Your Nique
Role Overview:As a Co-founder of Your Nique, you will be the driving force in transforming a Social Impact initiative into a high-growth startup. Your primary mission during the first 3 months is to conduct Business Validationproving that this concept has a clear market fit, paying customers, and a robust revenue model capable of scaling. You will operate with a founder's mindset, making strategic decisions to ensure Your Nique viability and growth while staying true to its community-centric roots.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Model Validation & Pivot
- Lead Market Validation efforts to identify Product-Market Fit and define the true target customer segments.
- Test business hypotheses using Lean Startup principles (Build-Measure-Learn), gathering on-the-field data, and being prepared to Pivot the business direction based on validation results.
- Design a sustainable Revenue Stream to transition the project from a supported initiative into a self-sustaining, profitable business.
2. Growth Hacking & Market Acquisition
- Develop customer acquisition strategies and analyze Unit Economics (e.g., CAC and LTV) to ensure long-term business health.
- Identify new opportunities and channels within the travel industry to expand the customer base and market presence.
3. Product Roadmap & Pitching
- Define the product/service roadmap (Travel Experience/Platform), ensuring a Unique Value Proposition that stands out in the competitive landscape.
- Develop business plans and track Traction to pitch to the Board of Directors for subsequent funding and phase expansion.
Qualifications
- Community & Tourism Passion:A deep interest and passion for working with local communities and a solid understanding of the Experiential Travel industry.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proven track record of ownership; experience building or being part of an early-stage startup is highly preferred.
- Agility & Resilience: High degree of flexibility, able to make data-driven decisions quickly and thrive in a Fuzzy Environment or under high ambiguity.
- Commercial Acumen: Sharp business instincts with the ability to identify monetization opportunities that harmonize with community values.
- Action-Oriented: A preference for on-the-field execution and real-world testing over solely conducting desktop research or theory.
Compensation & Timeline
- Project Duration: 3 months (Starting March May 2026 )
- Compensation:Milestone-based payment structure.
- Pay Range: Negotiable based on experience and expertise.
