Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Operations Officer to join our team at DCSS Technology. In this role, you will manage key aspects of accounts receivable, invoicing, purchase orders, and collections to ensure smooth financial operations and healthy cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including monitoring customer accounts, tracking payments, and maintaining accurate AR records.
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on sales orders, contracts, and services delivered.
- Create and process purchase orders (POs) for vendors and internal requirements.
- Follow up on overdue payments through emails, calls, and reminders; implement collection strategies to minimize outstanding balances.
- Reconcile accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and address customer inquiries promptly.
- Generate regular AR aging reports, collection status updates, and other financial reports for management.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely billing and payment alignment.
- Maintain organized documentation and comply with company policies and financial regulations.
- Assist with month-end closing and other ad-hoc finance/operations tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- At least 23 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or finance operations (experience with POs is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for customer interactions and internal collaboration.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and AR processes.
- Experience in the technology or IT services industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
