Job Description
- Lead new model development from feasibility study to mass production launch (in-house & supplier parts).
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and cost structure analysis to support strategic pricing and product positioning.
- Initiate and implement cost reduction activities through process optimization and Kaizen initiatives.
- Coordinate customer drawing confirmation, ECI, and 4M change management.
- Manage full PPAP documentation and submission for new model projects (internal & external suppliers).
- Lead cross-functional team to ensure on-time tooling, process validation, and production readiness.
- Conduct supplier audits (China) together with Toyota Japan team to identify waste reduction and process improvement opportunities.
- Drive scrap reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvement projects across supplier base.
