Job Summary:
The Business Strategy and Analytics will lead data-driven strategy development to drive revenue growth and optimize portfolio performance across products and distribution channels. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and advanced analytics to identify growth opportunities, enhance sales effectiveness, and support executive decision-making within the financial services business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth across products, customer segments, and distribution channels
- Lead portfolio optimization initiatives by analyzing product, customer value, and channel performance to maximize profitability and return
- Identify new business and sales expansion opportunities through market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive benchmarking
- Design and enhance sales and service models using data-driven insights, including sales funnel analysis and conversion optimization
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify key revenue drivers, performance gaps, and actionable opportunities to improve sales productivity
- Develop forecasting models and target allocation frameworks to ensure effective distribution of sales targets aligned with business strategy
- Data visualization tools to monitor revenue performance, portfolio health, and sales effectiveness
- Partner closely with Sales, Product and Risk teams to translate strategic priorities into executable plans and initiatives
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support business planning and performance management
- Continuously enhance analytics capabilities, tools, and methodologies to improve decision-making and business outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related fields
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Sales Strategy, Channel Strategy, Corporate Strategy, Business Planning, Commercial Analytics, or related roles within financial services (e.g., banking, insurance, fintech, or non-bank).
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth d portfolio optimization through data-driven strategies
- Strong experience in data analytics, including forecasting, segmentation, and performance modeling
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, power BI)
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analytics tools is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of financial products, customer lifecycle, and sales channel management
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial strategies
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives
