Job Purpose
This role is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying market opportunities, developing strategic initiatives, and supporting the expansion of innovative engineering solutions aligned with the company's long-term direction.
The position will work closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to evaluate potential business opportunities, strengthen market positioning, and support sustainable business expansion across targeted industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore and assess potential business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and emerging markets that support the company's growth objectives.
- Conduct market intelligence, industry benchmarking, and commercial analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Develop recommendations and actionable insights for senior management regarding new business initiatives and expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure strategic projects are executed effectively and aligned with business priorities.
- Support the launch and implementation of new business models, solutions, and commercial initiatives.
- Prepare business proposals, financial evaluations, and strategic go-to-market approaches for new ventures or partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, and external stakeholders to enhance long-term collaboration.
- Represent the company in business meetings, networking events, and industry discussions to strengthen market presence.
- Monitor project performance and establish measurable success indicators for strategic initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations to update management on project progress, market opportunities, and business outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, business analyst, commercial project management.
- Demonstrated experience in developing or expanding new business initiatives, partnerships, or growth strategies.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to evaluate market opportunities and business feasibility.
- Knowledge or exposure to engineering or technical solution businesses would be highly preferred.
- Comfortable working closely with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Able to manage multiple projects, coordinate across teams, and drive independent initiatives.
