Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Set up strategies Open to buy (OTB) along with standards for product selection, pricing, gross sales, sales areas, product examination, and sales promotion, to - develop product management following international standards, differentiate products from competitors, establish acceptable pricing, and achieve highest profitability.
- Analyse important data to support setting up policies, plans, directions, and market positions for overall buying and merchandising to manage up-to-date and align with market needs and target groups.
- Plan to build and maintain relationships with top suppliers to develop and maintain business benefits and create alignment in buying and merchandising effectively.
- Evaluate market trends and competitor situations, including analyzing target information and competitive landscape to set up strategies for product management and development, and buying and merchandising effectively.
- Develop and improve product management systems to ensure effective operations aligning with organizational needs and current situations.
- Follow up and monitor the analysis of gross sales to achieve divisional goals.
- Monitor overall shelf organization, product presentation, and visual merchandising aligning with store image to create consistency in product presentation and attract target customers.
- Coordinate with related functions to ensure effective operations.
- Supervise and advise subordinates to ensure effective performance and preparation for promotions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of buyer or merchandise relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of business trends, market conditions, and products under responsibility.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Experience in Import fashion, Street fashion products will be given special consideration
