Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective buying strategies to ensure optimal product selection and inventory management.
- Analyze consumer trends, sales data, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best pricing and terms.
- Work closely with marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory turnover.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting for buying operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a buying or procurement role within the retail industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
