Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective buying strategies to ensure optimal product selection and inventory management.
  • Analyze consumer trends, sales data, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best pricing and terms.
  • Work closely with marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting for buying operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a buying or procurement role within the retail industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
