C Playwright Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 5-8 years of hands‑on expertise in C#‑based test automation, modern automation tools, and CI/CD‑driven testing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth in automation frameworks, cloud‑native tooling, and BDD practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using C#.

Build scalable test suites for UI, API, and end‑to‑end automation using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.

Work with BDD frameworks, creating scenarios using Gherkin and implementing step definitions.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD environments, supporting continuous testing.

Use Docker/Kubernetes for containerized execution and improving test environment reliability.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for requirement analysis, test planning, and quality engineering.

Maintain automation code using GitHub / Git / Bitbucket and follow proper branching and review workflows.

Work efficiently in development environments such as Visual Studio, IntelliJ, or equivalent IDEs.

Required Skills & Experience (5-8 Years)

Automation Expertise

Strong hands‑on experience with C# automation (5-8 years).

Experience in Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress for UI automation.

Framework & Methodology

Strong understanding of BDD; experience working with Gherkin‑based frameworks (SpecFlow/Cucumber).

DevOps & Deployment

Working knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes for running automation in containerized test environments.

Version Control

Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar version control systems.

Development Environments

Comfortable working with Visual Studio, IntelliJ, or similar tools for development and debugging.

Good to Have

Experience in API automation frameworks.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Experience in cloud-based test execution platforms.
