Position Summary
Prepare major component sub-assembly, sections and detail drawings, calculations, bill of materials and 3D models for Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and associated equipment. Supervise the development of drawings. Serve as a consultant to shops, sub-contractors, and field personnel for projects.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop assembly and detail drawings for Heat Transfer Equipment using Plant3D, AutoCAD, Revit and Inventor software.
- Associate Degree in Engineering, Design Drafting or equivalent course work required.
- Three (3) years experience using Plant3D or AutoCAD to develop detailed manufacturing drawings and bill of materials for structural, piping and pressure vessels is preferred.
- Liaison with Project Design Leader and Engineer.
Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- High Vocational associate degree 2 years in Mechanical Design (CAD Designer Preferred)
- High Mechanical aptitude or interest
- 3 or more years of work experience in design drafting of sheet metal, pressure vessel, structural sheet, piping etc.,
- Skill of AutoCad 2D & 3D (Plant 3D, Inventor, Revit is a plus)
- Good coordination and team player
