Position: Capex Global Procurement - Manager

Position Reports to: Senior Manager Global Procurement

Department: Global Procurement

Location: Bangkok, Thailand and frequently visit the plant

Role Overview:

The CAPEX Procurement is responsible for managing the sourcing and contract negotiation for all capital investments, including equipment, infrastructure, and technical services.

This role ensures value-driven, timely, and compliant procurement to support project execution and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing processes for capital equipment and technical services
• Negotiate and manage CAPEX contracts in alignment with engineering, finance, and legal inputs.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery for major investment projects.
• Conduct cost analysis and support investment decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with Engineering and Project teams to define procurement scopes for CAPEX.
• Lead RFQ/RFP cycles, vendor evaluations, and contract finalization.
• Track procurement milestones against project schedules.
• Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) models and value assessments
• Support supplier onboarding for new CAPEX categories

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5+ years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in CAPEX sourcing
• Strong contract negotiation skills and technical sourcing knowledge
• Strong command of English language

Preferred:

• Experience with project-based procurement or infrastructure sourcing
• Engineering software knowledge (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Familiarity with investment governance processes
