Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Care Supervisor at The Newton Sixth Form School, based in Bangkok City, Thailand. The Care Supervisor will oversee the well-being and safety of students, provide support to ensure their personal and academic growth, and facilitate effective communication between students, staff, and parents. Key responsibilities include managing the pastoral care process, addressing student concerns, supporting academic and extracurricular activities, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills to support students and build relationships with parents and staff.
• Experience in student counseling, mentoring, or a similar role, with the ability to address both academic and personal challenges.
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with child safeguarding practices and policies would be an advantage.
• A bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in an educational setting or working with adolescents is beneficial.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Thai or additional languages is a plus.
