Job Description

This role is focused on achieving sales and performance targets within the Modern Trade channel, while driving overall business growth through regular performance analysis and monitoring. The individual will also be responsible for joint business planning and collaboration with key retail partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the distributor, influencing and guiding the development and execution of effective sales strategies
  • Develop customer and channel specific plans to accelerate product off-take and enhance the achievement of sales objectives
  • Manage trade spend effectively, ensuring alignment with channel-specific guidelines and budgetary controls
  • Analyze trade spend to ensure optimal return on investment (ROI) and support efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to develop tailored sales arguments that support the strategic objectives of assigned customers

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified with at least 6-8 years of sales/key account management experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or a related industry
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts, driving channel development, and delivering sustained sales growth within the Modern Trade environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact positively and professionally at all levels
