The Charter Operations Manager actively leads and oversees the Commercial Coordination team to ensure the highest standards of quality, responsiveness, and accuracy across all related business activities.
This role requires a leader with an excellent personality, a positive mindset, and a high level of discretion to drive the team in delivering world-class service for private charters, aircraft owners, and specialized missions.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage, supervise, and aggressively drive the complete charter workflow (including VIP, Air Ambulance, and Aircraft Owners) from initial inquiry through to flight completion, ensuring all operational tasks are handled in an accurate and timely manner.
- Lead and manage the Commercial Coordinator team; diligently check, verify their day-to-day work to ensure compliant operations, minimize errors, and foster their professional development.
- Take absolute responsibility for planning and maintaining the team's shift rosters to secure balanced, optimized, and efficient coverage for daily operations.
- Supervise and ensure the proper use of sales and operation related platforms and corporate systems for generating precise price quotations, contracts, invoices, and sales orders, ensuring quality and competitiveness are kept at optimum levels.
- Oversee, monitor, and verify post-flight charge settlements, aircraft owner fee matches, and all financial reports to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to company guidelines.
- Coordinate seamlessly with concerned internal departments (e.g., Flight Dispatch, Ground Services, Flight Operations, Maintenance) and relevant third-party remote operators to secure necessary flight permits, smooth ground handling, and absolute customer satisfaction.
- Meet and Greet protocols for VIP passengers and aircraft owners upon departure and arrival; engage professionally to gather real-time feedback and maintain excellent long-term relationships.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Guarantee optimum quality, responsiveness, and absolute accuracy across all related commercial coordination and flight sales support activities.
- Drive the department to consistently deliver seamless flight operations and exceptional hospitality for premium clients, owners, and specialized emergency missions.
- Maintain a strict level of discretion, professional integrity, and absolute confidentiality regarding client profiles, VVIP itineraries, and financial data.
- Train, mentor, and upskill the coordination team to execute daily operational tasks correctly and elevate their capability.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in Aviation, Hospitality, or Customer Experience Management, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Positive mindset, a strong ability to thrive under pressure, and excellent problem-solving skills to effectively handle operational challenges and daily crises.
- Professional personality with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of connecting effectively with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and mentoring a junior team.
- Strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and a proven track record of maintaining absolute discretion and reliability when handling confidential client and corporate financial data.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both Thai and English (written and spoken) is required for daily international business communication and client relations.
- Highly proficient in MS Office; must possess strong MS Excel skills for analytical sales reports.
