Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and quality control.
- Monitor and analyze chemical processes to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Conduct process simulations and modeling to evaluate proposed changes and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in chemical process engineering.
- Lead or participate in projects related to process optimization, equipment upgrades, and new product development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor'sorMaster'sdegreeinChemicalEngineeringorarelatedfield.
- 5yearsofexperienceasaChemicalProcessEngineerinamanufacturingenvironment(preferablyinthechemical,petrochemical,orrelatedindustry).
- Strongunderstandingofchemicalprocesses,unitoperations,andprocesscontrolsystems.
- Knowledgeofsafetyandenvironmentalregulations.
- Excellentproblem-solvingandanalyticalskills.
- Abilitytoworkeffectivelyinateamenvironment.
- ProficiencyinEnglish.
- KnowledgeofLeanManufacturingprinciplesandSixSigmamethodologies.
- Experiencewithstatisticalprocesscontrol(SPC).
- ProfessionalEngineeringlicenseorcertification.
