Our client company is now seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving sales and providing technical support for our chemical products aimed at the electronics industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both technical expertise and sales acumen, be capable of understanding complex product specifications and effectively communicating their value to be.
Your new role
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the electronics industry.
- Be responsible for sales growth in Thailand for Electronic Business and driving new business development in Thailand by working closely with SEA EM Commercial Leader and peers in the SEA Region.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers regarding product applications, features, and benefits.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and product development teams to understand new product offerings and enhancements.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective and existing customers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring terms align with company policies and profitability goals.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management on sales pipeline, achievements, and forecasts.
- Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements affecting electronic materials.
What you'll need to succeed
- Chemistry or Chemical Engineering degree.
- At least 7 years of experience in technical and commercial sales.
- Willing to provide troubleshooting and lab tests, to support production of EM SEA's key accounts.
- Experience of working with CRM systems
- Strong technical sales skills with high customer orientation
- High willingness to explore new things and create new business models
- Work experience in MNC and well cooperation work with a global team.
- Self-confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Team player who enjoys working in a global and cross-functional team
