Job Title: Chief Development Officer (Data Centres)

About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a rapidly expanding digital infrastructure platform that is delivering some of the region's most ambitious hyperscale data centre developments.
Due to significant growth and a large-scale project pipeline, they are seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead the end-to-end development and delivery of multiple mission-critical facilities across Thailand.
This is a rare executive-level opportunity to take ownership of the complete project lifecycle, from land and power acquisition through design, construction, commissioning, customer implementation, and operational handover. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in scaling a high-growth business with multiple active developments and an impressive future pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of hyperscale and colocation data centre projects.
- Drive land acquisition, utility engagement, and power infrastructure strategy.
- Oversee engineering, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Build and lead high-performing project, engineering, construction, and HSE teams.
- Manage large-scale capital programmes while maintaining delivery schedules, quality standards, and budget objectives.
- Act as a senior point of contact for customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the organisation's expansion strategy through the delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
- Travel regularly to project sites across Thailand.
Required Profile
- Proven experience leading the development and delivery of hyperscale data centres, ideally managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong background in MEP and mission-critical infrastructure.
- Demonstrable experience across the full project lifecycle, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Extensive leadership experience within data centres, critical infrastructure, or large-scale construction environments.
- Experience engaging with utilities, contractors, consultants, and executive stakeholders.
- Fluent English communication skills are essential. Additional Asian language capabilities would be advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Advanced qualifications are advantageous.
