Chief Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Engineer at VIE Hotel Bangkok - MGallery Collection, located in Bangkok. The Chief Engineer will oversee all aspects of building systems, maintenance, and engineering operations to ensure optimal functionality. Key responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, managing energy efficiency projects, coordinating repairs, and developing preventive maintenance schedules. The role requires close collaboration with various departments to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff.

• Proven expertise in maintenance operations, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and mechanical engineering.
• Experience in facilities management, energy-saving strategies, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills to lead a technical team effectively.
• Proficiency in project management, problem-solving, and coordinating repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in hotel or hospitality engineering is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks efficiently.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Thai is a plus.
