Chief Financial Officer (CFO - Investment & M&A)

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and present structured short and longterm financial plans to support business direction.
  • Manage company-wide liquidity, cash flow, and multidepartment budget forecasts to ensure operational alignment.
  • Conduct investment feasibility studies including ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback period analyses for strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare capital allocation frameworks to optimize resource deployment and support executive decisions.
  • Formulate competitive financial strategies to enhance market positioning and long-term business sustainability.


Accounting & Tax Management

  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L, cash flow, and management reports.
  • Monitor and validate financial transactions, receipts, and accounting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Direct annual budget planning and monitor expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Develop and manage tax planning strategies, ensuring timely submission of tax reports and compliance with regulatory authorities.

Cost Accounting & Operational Efficiency

  • Design, implement, and manage cost accounting systems aligned with organizational goals and production models.
  • Establish and monitor standard vs. actual cost structures across business units.
  • Analyze cost variances and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and margin performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in financial modeling, corporate finance, investment strategy, and M&A - including analysis, deal evaluation, and strategic partnership development.
  • Background in Investment Banking (IB), Private Equity (PE), or Venture Capital (VC) with strong exposure to digital transformation or new business models.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA and/or CFA are a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with logical thinking, selfdriven mindset, and continuous learning attitude.
