Chief Financial Officer

Location: On-site, Based in Bangkok, Thailand

Chronos Consultings client: It is a well-known business in real estate sales.

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the overall financial strategy, planning, and management of the company. This includes overseeing all financial reporting, accounting, capital raising, risk management, and financial analysis. As a member of the senior leadership team, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping the companys future by identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our real estate portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead the development and execution of the company&aposs financial strategy, including long-term planning and financial modeling to identify new business opportunities.
  • Operations & Risk Management: Oversee all financial operations, from accounting to capital management, while ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing controls to mitigate risk.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage the financial aspects of all real estate acquisitions and developments. Analyze portfolio performance to optimize value and build key relationships with investors and financial institutions.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present timely financial reports to the leadership team and board. Ensure strict adherence to all tax laws and industry standards, and coordinate all external audits.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master&aposs degree (MBA) is highly preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., CFO, VP of Finance) within the real estate industry.
  • Proven experience in capital raising, debt restructuring, and managing complex financial structures related to real estate investments.
  • Strong track record of managing a finance team and providing strategic guidance to executive leadership.
  • Deep understanding of real estate market dynamics, investment strategies, and property life cycles.
  • Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A high degree of business acumen and a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems.
