Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with the CEO in driving growth, capital strategy, and long-term value creation.
This role will play a critical leadership role in supporting expansion in renewable energy, managing large-scale investments, and leveraging capital markets and investment banking expertise to unlock business value.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Act as a key business partner to the CEO and Board
- Drive financial strategy aligned with business growth and transformation
- Provide insights on expansion, portfolio optimization, and risk management
Capital Strategy & Investment Banking
- Lead capital structure planning (debt, equity, hybrid instruments)
- Structure and execute complex financing transactions, including project finance, syndicated loans, bonds, and capital market instruments
- Leverage investment banking expertise to support fundraising, deal structuring, and financial advisory
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions
Investment & Growth
- Lead M&A, joint ventures, and new business investments
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence
- Identify and execute strategic investment opportunities in energy and infrastructure
Financial Operations & Governance
- Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, FP&A, and compliance
- Ensure strong internal controls and full compliance with regulatory requirements, including SET regulations
- Lead investor relations and financial communication
Project Finance (Critical)
- Structure and manage financing for large-scale projects (e.g., power plants)
- Monitor long-term project cash flow and financial performance
- Manage risks related to construction, operation, and revenue stability
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team
- Drive performance, capability development, and succession planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; MBA preferred
- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally at CFO or equivalent level in a listed or large-scale organization
- Proven track record in energy, infrastructure, or other capital-intensive businesses
- Strong experience in capital markets, investment banking, and complex deal structuring (e.g., project finance, syndicated loans, bonds, M&A)
- Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, investment strategy, and capital expansion
- Strong understanding of financial governance, regulatory compliance, and investor relations in a listed company environment
- Proven capability in financial strategy, capital allocation, and value creation
- Experience leading large, complex finance organizations and cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner closely with the CEO and Board
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical, commercial, and decision-making capabilities
