Position: Chief Operating Officer
Our client are a fast-growing company specializing in the import, export, and wholesale distribution of food frozen . As expand into new markets and scale our operations, we are looking for a highly capable COO to lead our end-to-end operations and help drive the company toward sustainable growth.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a start-up environment, enjoys building processes from scratch, and is not afraid to get hands-on while also thinking strategically.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily operations across sourcing, logistics, warehousing, production planning, and distribution.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability.
- Lead cross-functional teams: Operations, Supply Chain, QA, Finance, HR, and Commercial teams.
- Build and refine workflows, SOPs, and systems to support rapid growth.
- Manage vendor relationships, international suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, import/export regulations, and labor laws.
- Analyze operational data to make strategic, data-driven decisions.
- Drive cost optimization and forecast resource needs as the business scales.
- Support business expansion planning, market entry initiatives, and new product development.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO in shaping company direction and culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or general management, preferably in FMCG, food manufacturing, or import/export industries.
- Experience working in a start-up.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage both strategy and hands-on execution.
- Understanding of international trade, logistics, customs, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or data tools.
- Excellent communication skills in Thai and English.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving ability, and passion for building operations that scale.
