Job Description

Job Scope

  • Lead and oversee the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, including the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of key organizational risks.
  • Define and maintain the company's risk appetite and risk governance framework in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and regulatory expectations.
  • Provide independent risk oversight and advisory to the CEO, Executive Management, and Board of Directors on key risk exposures and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the Legal function, ensuring effective management of corporate legal matters, contractual governance, and legal risk across the organization.
  • Lead the Compliance function to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, while promoting a strong compliance culture.
  • Strengthen the organization's governance and internal control environment, including the implementation of appropriate policies, procedures, and control mechanisms.
  • Ensure effective coordination and integration among Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance functions to support a robust Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams within the Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance departments to ensure effective execution of the organization's risk and governance responsibilities.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in risk management, legal, compliance, or governance functions, with exposure to senior or executive-level responsibilities.
  • Proven expertise in enterprise risk management (ERM), compliance management, and legal governance, including risk assessment, control design, and policy development.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, corporate governance principles, and risk management frameworks.
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CRM, CAMS, CIA, or legal qualifications) is required or highly preferred.
  • High level of integrity, sound judgment, and analytical capability, with a strong risk-aware and governance-driven mindset.
