Chief Technology Officer
We are partnering with a well-known luxury retail business client seeking the right Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their overall technology strategy and execution. This role will oversee application development, IT infrastructure, and data management functions while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience across multiple IT domains, hands-on involvement in Oracle implementations, and a solid background in the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the company's IT and digital transformation strategy.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams across application development, IT infrastructure, and data/analytics.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure technology systems.
- Drive and manage enterprise system implementations, including Oracle solutions (e.g., ERP, POS, and others).
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure.
- Partner with business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor, and technology investments.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director / C level IT).
- Proven experience managing application, infrastructure, and data teams.
- Strong understanding of system integration, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
- Prior experience in the retail industry (e.g., POS systems, supply chain, omnichannel platforms)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
