Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chinese Interpreter located in Bangkok. The Chinese Interpreter will assist patients and hospital staff by accurately translating and interpreting between Chinese and Thai or English during medical consultations, patient registrations, and other interactions. The role will also entail facilitating clear communication, supporting patients in their navigation of hospital services, and ensuring patient understanding of medical instructions, procedures, and other hospital information.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Chinese and Thai or Chinese and English with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpretation and translation abilities for medical terminology
• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively and empathetically with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural and professional healthcare environment
• Familiarity with hospital or healthcare operations is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Languages, Linguistics, or a relevant field is preferred
• Previous experience in medical interpretation or in a hospital setting is advantageous
