Our holding company, ID&E Holdings Co., Ltd. (ID&E), was officially established on 3 July 2023. The Consulting Business, Urban & Spatial Development Business, and Energy Business, which were previously the business divisions of Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NK) which is Japan's No.1 International Engineering Consultants in terms of size and turnover for consulting services, became independent as separate corporate organizations. Among these, Nippon Koei Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NKES) commenced its operations on 1 October 2023, drawing on the foundations of NK's DNA, the energy management, manufacturing, construction & installation, and electro-mechanical consulting fields have been retained; and we continue to provide one-stop services pertaining to energy.

Work Environment

We are looking for a Civil Engineer (fixed-term 1 year contract) to support efficiently the expansion of our activities in Energy. You will be responsible for the technical consulting assignment and coordinate with all team members to provide deliverables at the highest quality standards within the agreed schedule. You will support not only projects and BD in the Thermal team but also supporting the other team to achieve their goal by using your best knowledge.

Missions

• You will report to the Head of Energy.
• For any assigned project, you will provide support to Project Manager of such project.
• Perform technical feasibility studies and due diligence reports.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, calculations, reports, and drawings for civil work, structural work, foundation and piling work, i.e., Rotating Equipment Foundation analysis & design, Structural Dynamics, Structural steel & reinforced concrete design, Soil investigation,
• Pavement, Earthwork etc.
• Participate in EPC bid clarification.
• Prepare project bidding package and bid evaluation.
• Perform man-hour estimations and assist in proposal work.
• Be able to mobilize to site for short term assignment.
• Other assignment from Supervisor.

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline, preferred in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Min 3 years of professional experience in the Energy or Petrochemical business, preferably in the field of power plants, biomass, or natural gas (simple and combined cycle), cogeneration facilities, and/or LPG/LNG terminals.
• Experience working with conceptual design and layouts of power plant.
• Knowledge of engineering and management software such as STAAD-Pro, ANSYS, SAP2000, GTStrudl, RISA3D, Tekla Structure, Geoslope or other commercial analysis and design softwares, Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of an intercultural and interdisciplinary team or independently as required.
• Dynamic, proactive, and autonomous.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Thai.
• The position is based in Bangkok (Two Pacific Tower - Nana BTS Station).
