Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise construction works on site.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of works.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and review construction schedules, method statements and work plans.
• Ensure compliance with BCA, MOM and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Review drawings and ensure works are carried out according to approved plans.
• Prepare project reports, progress claims and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, materials and manpower utilisation.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with relevant authorities.
• Assist in site operations and perform hands-on construction activities whenever required, including tie-rod installation, wheelbarrow operation, concrete pouring, material handling, and other general construction duties.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company as required to support project operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry (adjust as needed).
• Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and BCA requirements is preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage (if required).
