Job Description

Key Responsibilities And Qualifications

Review and interpret architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Collaborate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and construction managers, to coordinate the design and construction process.
Perform structural calculations and analysis to ensure the structural integrity of the building.
Develop detailed construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, for various building components.
Coordinate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for the project.
Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design plans, building codes, and safety standards.
Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, addressing any design-related issues that arise during the construction phase.
Review and approve shop drawings, product submittals, and other technical documentation from subcontractors.
Participate in project meetings, site visits, and progress reviews to ensure the project is progressing as planned.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and project closeout materials.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the design and construction of commercial, residential, or industrial buildings.
Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar, for the development of construction drawings.
Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations applicable to the project location.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with various project stakeholders.
