Key Responsibilities
- Assess and review Life & Health claims for both individual and group insurance, including death, accidental death and compensation, accidental dismemberment, and medical expenses, in accordance with the benefits and terms of the applicable reinsurance contracts.
- Study, collect, and summarize the terms and conditions of the Company's reinsurance products to support claim assessment, as well as provide claims-related opinions and advice for product development.
- Develop claims-related materials and deliver training sessions to enhance claims knowledge and understanding.
- Establish criteria and guidelines for reviewing claim assessments.
- Monitor claim assessments under the Company's reinsurance contracts.
- Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Support departmental projects and other assigned tasks, including researching, gathering, and preparing relevant documents and information for presentation to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Statistics, or other related fields, with a good understanding of medical knowledge.
- At least 5 years of experience in Life Insurance claims, particularly in Health, Accident, Disability & Dismemberment, Accident Compensation, and Critical Illness claims.
- Good command of Microsoft Office.
- Good command of English, with effective listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
