Key and responsibilities:
- Manage all claims from clients, especially Construction & Engineering, Power & Energy and ensuring timely and fair resolution/ settlement.
- Communicate, liaise, negotiate with insurers, loss adjusters or other parties concerned to protect and maximize client benefits.
- Conduct and supervise claim investigations and inspections, ensuring thorough analysis and client protection.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the claim management system.
- Input, monitor, and maintain accurate claim information in relevant systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Develop and implement claim support programs to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the claims team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Monitor and manage outstanding claims, ensuring progress, closure, and reporting to senior management.
- Identify and deliver practical claim solutions, maximizing advantages for clients.
- Review, interpret, and develop policy wordings to support both claims and marketing functions.
- Share insights and suggest policy wordings to strengthen competitive insurance solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to increase opportunities for winning new business.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any related fields (legal background is preferrable).
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in claims handling within insurance brokerage or insurance companies or loss adjusting companies or other related companies.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to interpret policy wordings accurately and provide clear guidance to clients and colleagues.
- Capability to share insights, create, or suggest policy wordings to support the claims team and marketing team and to develop competitive insurance solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with clients, insurers, and surveyors/ loss adjusters or other parties concerned.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments, supporting both claims and marketing functions.
- Adaptability and teamwork ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
