ABOUT PERCEPTRA

Perceptra is the leading deep health tech startup in Thailand. Our aim is to develop the artificial intelligence platform for the healthcare industry. Currently our first product Inspectra CXR is the best AI software for chest x-ray analysis in the SEA market, with 8 deep learning services deployed on the cloud supporting Radiologists workflow through website interface and API services connected directly to hospital's IT systems. Today, our platform is actively used by 30+ hospitals nationwide.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Perceptra is a leader in AI-powered medical imaging, with products deployed across 470+ medical centers throughout Thailand and Southeast Asia. As we expand our clinical evidence program to support regulatory submissions and hospital adoption, we are building a dedicated Clinical Research team to generate the scientific foundation that underpins everything we do.

As a Clinical Research Associate, you will support the design and execution of clinical studies that validate our AI products in real-world settings. You will work closely with our Product & Regulatory team, ML Research team, and hospital partners including major academic medical centers to ensure that our studies run to protocol and produce evidence that meets the bar for peer-reviewed publication and regulatory use.

This role is for someone who understands the rhythm of clinical research, is comfortable working across hospital environments, and takes pride in the rigor of the process as much as the outcome.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research medical knowledge / clinical study protocol to design clinical study that answer company's research goals. Create proposals, plans, and communicate those plans with internal stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with radiologists, clinicians, and hospital research coordinators at partner sites to facilitate smooth study execution without disrupting clinical workflows.
  • Supporting the day-to-day execution of clinical studies across Perceptra's product modalities. Coordinate data collection activities with hospital partners, ensuring adherence to study protocols, timelines, and ethical requirements.
  • Work with a team of medical image annotators to ensure data quality and completeness throughout the study lifecycle, flagging deviations and coordinating corrective actions & continuously improve data assets and labeling process.
  • Work with Machine Learning team and Data Annotator team to co-ordinate validation study for AI models and ensure that validation project meets deadlines and project objectives.
  • Work with Machine Learning team and Data Annotator to prepare datasets, results summaries, and supporting materials for scientific manuscripts, conference abstracts, and white papers. Translate study findings into scientific papers and regulatory-ready documents such as clinical evaluation reports.
  • Summarize the findings in a form of presentation slides or internal reports to communicate with clinical stakeholders and regulatory stakeholders.

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

  • Genuine interest in evidence-based medicine and the role clinical research plays in validating AI tools for clinical use.
  • High attention to protocol detail understands that data collected outside protocol cannot be used, and acts accordingly.
  • Comfortable operating across institutional environments; able to build trust with hospital staff through professionalism and consistency.
  • Organized and self-managing, able to track multiple study activities across sites without dropping threads.
  • Collaborative team player who works well with both clinical and technical colleagues.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing, medical technology, life sciences, or a related field. Master's degree is desirable.
  • 12 years of experience in clinical research, clinical trials, or data collection in a hospital setting.
  • Working knowledge of GCP principles and clinical study documentation practices.
  • Proficiency in Thai; working English sufficient for reading protocols and contributing to manuscript drafts.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging modalities (CXR, mammography, CT, fundus) is a plus but not required.
