Position Summary:
In specified key accounts (HealthCare Facility and Health Care Professional) and in partnership with Distributor organization, to develop the company products and services awareness and selling in the market, to meet or exceed assigned quota thereby maintaining and constantly improving company's competitive position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clinical Nursing Lead, while collaborating with internal and external teams, such as HCP (Health Care Professional): Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacist, Analyst.
- Planning, execution and follow up to education of hospital clinicians on the use of ICU Medical products.
- Escalate risks and customer issues to Dx Manager.
- Provide go-live and post go-live customer facing support on use of ICU Medical products and solutions.
- Presenting to a variety of audiences in a variety of settings.
- Clinical Subject Matter Expert for internal and external customers.
- Work with the distributor to provide a coordinated selling effort on current products and to provide clinical feedback during the initial roll out phase of a new product (NPI).
- Consistently work to improve personal knowledge and sales skills to become of greater value to current and potential customers and to the organization.
- Ensure achievement of annual sales targets for product focus for the market.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Prior leadership role in nursing is highly desirable.
- Must be self-motivated, well-organized with the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required– verbal and written including presentation skills.
- Must have proficient in MS Office skills with Outlook, Excel, and Power Point.
- Knowledge of leading web-ex meetings is highly preferred.
- Analytical skills and knowledge of statistics desired.
- Training skills and required to effectively train customers and demonstrate company products/clinical benefits and services.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree preferably in Nursing or Medical doctor or Public Health is required with current ID license.
- Must have minimum two (2) years prior experience in medical device sales or equivalent sales experience in healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of Intensive Care, OT, Oncology and ER product market segments.
Abilities:
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Ability to effectively manage assigned Area in terms of strategic planning, organization skills, sales forecasting, and profitability.
- Excellent planners with focus on follow-up and seeding to sales teams.
- Ability to establish and maintain credibility, trust, and positive relationship.
- Ability to develop relationships with Clinical and Key Opinion Leaders to drive commercial performance.
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate sales opportunities.
- Ability to handle and work under stressful situations.
Planning and Decision Making:
- Responsible for Planning and Implementing sales/training programs with the Health Care Facilities.
- Work with the Hospital– (customer / HCP) to advise on configuration of the devices and its effective use in the Clinical environment.
- Work with Distributor Manager to plan training support in order of business priority.
Impact and Scope:
- Ensures that there is a clear understanding of expectations and accountabilities.
- This role is integral to accelerating business growth, through development of existing and new product opportunities.
- Delivery of In-services and educational talks as part of the sales process to achieve success.
- Delivery of Training and Education to the customer following purchase of medical devices results in increased patient safety and reduced medical errors.
- Represents the Company to its present and potential customers in an ethical and consistently reliable manner.
Key Internal and External Relationships:
- Internal - Distributor Manager, Regional Marketing Manager, Training Manager, other ASIA / SEA team
- External - All distributor Product management and sales team, Regulatory team, Private and Government Hospitals(including others health care facilities), Homecare companies
