Iron Mountain is seeking a proactive Collection & Payment Lead to drive the delivery, performance, and operational improvement of our Agreement to Cash (A2C) function in Thailand. Reporting directly to local and regional leadership, you will own cash collection, ageing, and Bad Debt Expense (BDE) targets while leading an operational team.
We are looking for a decisive leader who does not just follow policy, but proactively solves root-cause payment issues and holds the line on collections.
What you'll do
- Drive BDE & DSO Reduction: Proactively develop and execute concrete strategies to minimise Bad Debt Expense (BDE), improve cash flow, and reduce overall ageing.
- Team Leadership & Accountability: Directly manage, coach, and motivate a local Billing and Collections team (11 direct reports), driving clear performance expectations and operational discipline.
- Root-Cause Data Analysis: Utilise intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills to analyse payment trends, identify underlying friction points in customer billing, and implement actionable solutions.
- Senior Stakeholder Escalations: Partner with internal Sales, Finance Leaders, and the Country Managers to resolve complex, high-pressure customer payment disputes and escalations.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure team adherence to internal global audit controls (SOX-Lite) and A2C policies.
What you'll bring
- Proven Leadership: Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading teams in Invoice to Cash (I2C) or Accounts Receivable (AR), with a track record of driving team performance.
- Assertive Problem-Solving: Ability to present clear, structured collection strategies and execute root-cause analysis rather than relying solely on high-level process management.
- Strong English Proficiency: Fluent verbal and written English skills required to report to regional SEA leadership and negotiate with major corporate accounts.
- Practical Technical Skills: Solid working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Location: Based in or easily commutable to Samut Prakan
