Strategic Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and manage a large collection and operations team, fostering a culture of high performance, development, and motivation.
  • Pioneer and congregate project workforces, organizing resources such as budget, timeline, and headcount to achieve company goals.
  • Design and implement effective incentive schemes and commission structures to drive team performance and maximize recovery rates.

Collection Strategy and Recovery Optimization

  • Design and execute end-to-end collection strategies, including pre-due, post-due, outsourcing, and litigation processes to minimize losses.
  • Develop debt allocation and outsourcing strategies to optimize recovery efficiency and manage external vendor relationships.
  • Lead the development and implementation of in-house collection systems and automation tools to improve operational workflow.

Project Operations and Process Excellence

  • Demonstrate leadership in guiding project requirements through the entire lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, evaluation, and closure.
  • Own and manage end-to-end operational processes, ensuring service stability, timely issue resolution, and the identification of systemic abnormalities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational gaps and inefficiencies, utilizing root cause analysis to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Maintain and standardize SOPs, process documentation, and escalation workflows to align cross-functional teams on SLAs and handoff procedures

Data Analytics and Performance Monitoring

  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to transform complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain automated reporting mechanisms, dashboards, and tools to provide real-time monitoring of key metrics like recovery rates and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and risks, presenting findings and action plans to upper management.

Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all collection and operational activities are strictly compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management and Compliance teams to maintain guidelines and mitigate operational risks.
  • Establish robust training and quality assurance frameworks to maintain high standards across all collection and customer-facing processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in debt collection management within a fast-paced environment, including outsourcing and litigation.
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, operations, or business transformation rolesis preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects from planning through to execution.
  • Experience with SQL and coding/scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Google Apps Script) is a strong plus for driving automation through AI tools.
  • Knowledge of incentive scheme design and financial reporting metrics
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and motivate large teams.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-oriented and ethical mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good command of English.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle operational issues outside standard working hours when required.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
