About The Team

We are looking for a Collection Data Analyst to join our team as a dedicated data support partner for our Collections department. In this role, you will work closely with both inhouse Collections team and Outsourcing Agencies (OA) to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable data that drives strategic decisions and improves collection performance.

Job Description

Data Support & Reporting:

  • Be the go-to data partner for the Collections team, supporting both internal staff and external collection partners (OAs).
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards and reports that track key metrics such as flow rates, recovery efficiency, agent performance, and productivity.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc data support using tools such as SQL, Excel, and modern BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data delivery to stakeholders, enabling effective daily operations and long-term strategy planning.

Insight & Analysis

  • Analyze collection trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and highlight early warning signs through data.
  • Collaborate with team leads and managers to define KPIs and success metrics that align with business goals.
  • Translate complex data into simple, actionable insights to support decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies or gaps in current reporting and suggest improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Help standardize data sources, definitions, and reporting formats to ensure consistency across teams and vendors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical or data support role, ideally within financial services, credit risk, or collections.
  • Strong skills in SQL and Excel for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python or an equivalent tool.
  • Hands-on experience creating dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills — able to understand team needs and explain data clearly to non-technical users.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple requests or priorities at once.
