Job Description
- Strategy Alignment: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure alignment with department targets and objectives
- Performance Management: Drive the team to consistently achieve and surpass departmental goals
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret collection data to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Use analytics to drive decisions and strategy adjustments
- Capacity and Budget Planning: Analyze workforce data and forecast budget requirements to support informed decision-making on capacity planning, efficiency and effectiveness
- Trend Forecasting: Evaluate key indicators like delinquency roll rates and recovery vintage to anticipate trends. Formulate strategies that align with the current financial landscape
- Optimization of Collection Processes: Continuously assess, redesign, and improve collections processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure maximum recovery
- Reporting Management: Develop collection dashboards and ensure accuracy in all reports, as well as managing the comprehensive collections data repository
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, such as finance and risk, to introduce innovative strategies, enhance processes, and ensure seamless project implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification would be an advantage.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in collections, finance, credit risk, or strategic planning roles
- Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
