We're seeking a talented, highly motivated, and experienced Commercial & Partnerships Director to lead the commercial approach for our existing Asian venues, including Impact Arena, Bangkok; Grange House, Singapore; and Tides, Hong Kong. Focusing on sponsorship sales, partnership management, premium seating and ticketing opportunities, as well as leveraging our food and beverage relationships. The role will develop commercial excellence per venue & market, whilst also applying a regional framework across all assets in the current portfolio.
Working alongside Live Nations International Venue Sponsorship Team as well as the Live Nation Asia Sponsorship team, the Commercial Director will be responsible for sponsorship revenue through direct sponsorship sales, sponsorship agency management and working with the venue teams, managing the delivery of partners. In addition, the Commercial Director, working with the venue management teams, will drive both premium seating and food and beverage revenues.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
What the role includes
- Prospecting and selling sponsorship to potential brand partners across key markets; Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong, as well as enterprise partnerships across the region
- Ability to sell premium seating products to corporates and HNW
- Understanding of how to maximise premium tickets in order to deliver incremental revenue to the venue
- Maximise food and beverage relationships to drive venue margin including listing/partnership revenue, cost management, flex pricing and or product mix
- Work with venue catering teams to deliver incremental revenue from food and beverage partners.
- Working collaboratively with Live Nations sponsorship teams, both in Asia and across the Live Nation Venue Sponsorship group to deliver sponsorship revenue
- Managing appointed sponsorship sales agencies in the delivery of sponsorship sales
- Work with Asian venue management teams and the Live Nation Venue Sponsorship Group in identifying potential sponsorship benefits across our Asian Venues
- Work with the Asian venue management teams to identify premium seating products that can be taken to market that grow venue revenue
- Take direction from the President of Venue Development Asia to focus on key market objectives
- Developing regular commercial updates and reports for various internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a key resource for the President of Venues Development Asia.
- Sweating the small stuff – Admin! Staying on top of correspondence and implementing strong file management & storage practices – across finance, legal, presentations & partner assets.

- Proven track record business development, sales, and sponsorship across Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong, with a strong understanding of business cultures in these markets
- In-depth of experience in:
o Sales, Sales process and Sales Strategies
o Hospitality, ticketing and events market
o Asian business market and contacts
- Commercial budget management and revenue accountability
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop new revenue opportunities.
- Ability to generate prospective sponsors from inside and outside of the Music & Entertainment industry
- Strong network in the Asian brand partnership industry
- Experience managing agencies, partners and external stakeholders across multiple markets.
- Senior-level skills in negotiation
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills; strong presence
- Strong Communication in English is required; preference given to individuals who speak multiple languages (e.g. Thai, Mandarin, Cantonese, etc)
- Knowledge of and passion for marketing trends, culture, music, food & beverage, and technology
- Ability and willingness to travel across Asia as required
