We are partnering with a leading multinational in the dairy and food ingredients space to appoint a Bangkok-based Commercial Director to lead its foodservice business in Thailand. This is a pivotal leadership role within a high-growth market, offering the opportunity to shape commercial strategy and accelerate performance across foodservice and B2B channels.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the regional leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening market positioning, and leading a sizeable commercial organisation. The role sits within a complex, matrixed environment and requires close collaboration with both regional stakeholders and local in-market leadership.

You will take ownership of the Thailand commercial agenda, developing and executing strategies to grow market share across key channels including HoReCa, QSR and distribution. A key part of the mandate will be to deepen customer relationships, enhance channel effectiveness, and drive a more balanced mix between direct key accounts and distributor-led sales. Alongside this, you will lead a team of senior commercial professionals, fostering a high-performance culture while remaining close to the market, customers, and frontline teams.

Requirement

The successful candidate will bring strong commercial leadership experience within foodservice or B2B environments. While prior experience in foodservice is highly preferred, candidates with strong leadership experience in key account management and distributor management within the broader F&B industry will also be considered. You will be comfortable operating in a matrix structure, able to influence across multiple stakeholders, and demonstrate a hands-on leadership style with a strong presence in the field. A deep understanding of the Thailand market is essential.

We are seeking a true strategic operator who is equally comfortable setting direction and driving execution on the ground. You will be highly hands-on and field-oriented, with the ability to engage directly with customers as well as inspire and align internal teams. Strong commercial acumen and experience managing P&L responsibilities are essential, alongside the ability to operate effectively within a matrix environment. You will need to build alignment across both regional leadership and the local Thailand consumer business, balancing strategic thinking with operational involvement and leadership with execution.

Success in this role will be defined by your ability to leverage strong local market relationships across foodservice and distribution channels, while building and unifying a high-performing Thai team. You will be comfortable navigating organisational complexity, commercially driven with a clear growth mindset, and increasingly data-led in your approach, embracing digital tools to enhance decision-making and performance.
